Mike Murray

Primary Lead Teacher

About Mike

Michael is passionate about teaching, and the Montessori Method. He believes it both teaches children the academic skills they will need for life long learning, and, more importantly, develops character and independence. Learning for a young child should be exciting, joyous, and challenging. The Montessori classroom is a place where children are allowed to express their personality, cultivate empathy, and awaken their senses and intellect. Michael believes in the Montessori principle of "follow the child", meaning it is the teacher responsibility to support each child's individual needs, and guide them in a direction which will allow them to flourish.
